Syracuse, NY- As the Inaugural season comes to a close, the FHL Staff would like to Thank all our fans, friends, followers and sponsors for a Fantastic season. As we look forward to our 2nd season, the PR Department would like to introduce a revamped lineup of communications. First off we have renamed the nightly game recap "Ice Chips" which will be sent out within 1 hour of the final horn. This will allow all our fans a single source to find out who the winners were around the league and also permit the Media ample time for meeting their deadlines. This will start when the first preseason games begin in late October and early November. The second item is our newsletter now known as "Inside the Glass". The first edition will be available on Monday April 4th, and will be published semi-monthly thru the end of August at which time it will become a weekly newsletter. Part of the revamping of the newsletter will be the addition of player interviews and featured articles by members of the Press to include John Landers of The Fischler Report, Don Money, Wendy Hull and Susan Erichson of Pro Hockey News and other Freelance reporters throughout North America and across the globe.
The PR Department along with members of our broadcast media are working on several new innovations to enhance our viewers interaction with the FHL and the broadcasting of our games. They look forward to making their presentation to the FHL staff in the next few weeks. Stay tuned to our website for any new updates on this and other happenings around the FHL.
We would like to welcome our two newest members, Barry Soskin in Danville, IL (Team name and logo are part of their ongoing contest) and Andy Makal and the Green Mountain Rock Crushers from Jay, VT. These two new members will be highlighted in late April and late May in our newsletter "Inside the Glass"
